It's been awhile since I've updated this thing, so thought I'd let you all know what's been going on in my life.

Well friends, the second part of my journey is complete. The first was retrieving my dignity, which I have been doing the past couple of months. The second was having the courage to get out of a marriage that I had long been unhappy in...never thought I'd have the courage to leave and probably never would have if not for the support of some great friends standing behind me. Last night we agreed to end it as friends and move on. After 18 years, it was more difficult than I had imagined, though...hurting someone I've been trying to protect for as long is not easy...but now it's time for me.

Now what? I don't know. I wish I did, but the future is wide open. Lots of fun things I wanna do...places to go, things to see...if I wasn't broke...oh well. The only thing I know for sure is that I wanna be a great mother, a good friend, and hopefully someday will find someone (or someone will find me) who loves me just as I am.

I have and I hope I never waste tomorrow again.
